Gilbert Baitson LLP is a proud third-generation family business, founded in 1935 by Gilbert Baitson and his wife, Lillian. Built on strong family values and a commitment to service, the business has grown steadily over the decades while remaining true to its roots.
Since its inception, we have conducted almost 9,000 auction sales, handling an extraordinary variety of items, from Herr Himmler’s spectacles to 40,000 sets of false teeth, and even a Doberman dog and a donkey, reflecting the unique and varied nature of our trade.
Based in Kingston upon Hull, our auction rooms are located on Anlaby Road, directly opposite the MKM Stadium. We hold regular weekly auctions of general household effects, alongside a range of specialised sales, conducted either on-site or within our own auction rooms.
